Jul 21, 2023ECCOTA hosting basket weaving class Saturday
There have been plenty of art classes and activities held at ECCOTA over the past few months and that will continue entering August.
RIDGWAY- The Elk County Council on the Arts (ECCOTA) will be holding a basket weaving class this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This class will be led by artist and instructor Catherine Snyder. Snyder has hosted two classes with ECCOTA thus far. Snyder held classes regularly at the Potter County Artisan Center, and reached a new audience in Elk County by hosting a hiking and foraging basket class.
Snyder will be instructing attendees on how to craft a tote bag that is designed to either be carried by hand or slung over the shoulder. This tote bag class is brand new.
