PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court July 26:
* Ronald Lee Walters Jr., 1205 Ninth St. Apt. 201, Vienna, pleaded guilty to two counts of battery of a government employee or medical personnel, fined $186.48 and sentenced to three months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation each with the sentences to run concurrently. Another charge of battery of a government employee or medical personnel was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Grace Ann Keaffaber, 1006 East 12th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to child neglect by parent, guardian or custodian creating risk of bodily injury, failure to maintain control, accidents involving bodily injury-failure to stop, improper registration, fined $725.92 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on unsupervised probation for two years. He had a charge of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jeremy Lee Watson, 2805 Birch St., Lot 26, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of attempting to commit an offense dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Justin Tyler Johnson, 413 East 8th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jerrianne Krystal Myers, 12171 East Belpre Pike, Coolville, Ohio, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and fined $186.48.
* Jason Lewis Ek, 813 23rd St., Parkersburg, had a charge of fleeing from an officer dismissed. A charge of petit larceny was dismissed with prejudice.
* Jerry Wayne Seabolt, PO Box 4685, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Jody Alan Bartram, PO Box 122, Pennsboro, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $196.48.
* Christopher James Hunt, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.
* Christy Dawn Smith, 13 Joyce Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. Charges of driving on a suspended license and having defective equipment were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Evan Reed Bender, 2117 16th St., Parkersburg, had charges of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and having no proof of insurance dismissed.
* Heather Kay Kerns, 508 Bear Creek Road, Lowell, had a charge of having no insurance dismissed with prejudice.
* Brianna Lynn Adkinson, 941 Swann St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction and fined $226.48.
* Andrea Michele Arnold, 607 13th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Leyla Seanne Paul, 31 Westview Way, Parkersburg, had a charge of permitting DUI dismissed without prejudice.
* Robert James McFee, 728 Burning Springs Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and second-offense driving on a suspended license (three counts) and released on $1,000 bond.
* Chad Allen James, 1310 Paden St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of false application for a fishing license and released on $500 bond.
* Cheryl Renae Naylor, 201 Belle Meadow Drive, Marietta, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license, having no proof of insurance and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
* Donovan Robert-Lee Adams, 210 Westwood Way, Washington, was arraigned on a charge violating a protective order and released on $1,000 bond.
* Lucas W. Sampson, 515 East First St., Uhrichsville, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and obstruction and released on $1,000 bond.
* Kara Danielle Long, 1938 Princeton St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of petit larceny and obstruction and held on $2,000 bond.
* Joshua Martin Snider, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault and domestic battery (two counts) and held on $2,000 bond.
* Rex Franklin Hutson Jr., 1319 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of battery and released on $1,000 bond.
* Alisha Joy O’Conner, 2801 Emerson Ave., Apt. 18/Stonecrest, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on $1,000 bond.
* Christopher Lee Chafin, 12088 Middle Island, Alma, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and petit larceny and held on $4,000 bond.
* Stefan Kendal Cooper, 316 Charles St. Apt. 206, Sistersville, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and fined $771.46.
* Jonathan E. Cain, 835 Federal Road, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to having expired boat registration and fined $196.48.
* Willard J. Blackwell III, 823 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to having no rear facing observer and fined $196.48.
* Marion Buell, 1617 Gayle Drive, Lexington, Ky., pleaded guilty to shoplifting penalties, less than $500, trespassing and fined $367.96. She was ordered to pay a $50 Civil Penalty to the Parkersburg Walmart store.
* William Roland Talkington, c/o 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to shoplifting and fined $181.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 Civil Penalty to Sheetz.
* Nathaniel Thomas Swonger, 614 Cliff St. NW, Massillon, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Candice Eleanor Williams, 811 Florence St., Belpre, Ohio, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain control and fined $181.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
* Joni Lorraine Mullen, 25 Mullen Run Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
* Kyle D. Bryant, 1721 Staunton Turnpike, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25.
